How many do I actually need?

Do I need to buy batteries?
No. One CR2032 per bat, already installed. About 50–60 hours of glow — switch them off during the day and a set runs the whole season on the originals.
Is there a remote or a timer?
No. Each bat has its own switch on the back. On in the evening, off at bedtime. That's deliberate — it's what makes the batteries last all October.
Will they damage my walls?
No. The pads peel cleanly off painted walls, glass, tile and most smooth surfaces. Remove slowly at an angle.
Mine keep falling off. Why?
Almost always a dusty or textured surface. Wipe the spot with a dry cloth and use two pads per bat. Textured wallpaper and brick won't hold.
Are they safe around kids and pets?
Yes. The LEDs stay cool to the touch and there are no cords to trip over. Plenty of people use them as a night light well past Halloween.
Can I use them outside?
On a covered porch, yes. Not in direct rain — the LED base isn't sealed.
Can I reuse them next year?
Yes. Peel them off, keep the bats, swap in fresh batteries next October. Spare pads are cheap if the adhesive loses grip.
